When life looks “fine,” but you feel far away from yourself.
I offer therapeutic support for people who have spent years adapting, tolerating, caring for others, and losing contact with their own needs, voice, and direction.
Together, we create space to understand what is happening, reconnect with yourself, and begin living with more truth, peace, and emotional freedom.
From Silence to Voice.
From Self-Doubt to Self-Trust.
From Tolerating to Truly Living.

Why You’re Here
You may be carrying more than people realise.
Maybe you are the one who keeps things together.
The patient one.
The understanding one.
The responsible one.
The one who does not want to make things difficult.
You may be functioning, but feel tired inside.
You may care deeply for others, but struggle to listen to yourself.
You may avoid conflict, then feel invisible or resentful.
You may feel guilty when you rest, want more, or choose differently.
You may wonder why your life works on the outside, but does not feel fully yours.
This is often where therapy begins:
not with a dramatic crisis, but with the quiet realisation that something needs to change.
Ways to Work With Me
Individual Therapy
A one-to-one therapeutic space to explore emotional patterns, self-abandonment, burnout, identity, family dynamics, boundaries, relationships, and the process of reconnecting with yourself.
This may be for you if you want personal support to understand what keeps repeating and begin making different choices with more clarity and self-trust.
Couples Therapy
A therapeutic space for couples who want to understand the patterns between them, communicate more honestly, and relate with more emotional responsibility.
This may be for you if you feel stuck in repeated conflict, distance, resentment, misunderstanding, or silence, and want support to understand what is really happening underneath.
Group Therapy
Reflective and experiential spaces around emotional awareness, self-abandonment, boundaries, family patterns, internalized roles, and authentic living.
This may be for you if you want a guided space to explore yourself alongside others, with structure, reflection, and shared insight.
The Deeper Program
“From Silence to Peace”
For those ready for a longer therapeutic journey.
A 9-month therapeutic journey for people who are ready to understand the patterns they developed in order to survive (self-abandonment, emotional suppression, inherited roles, boundaries, identity), reconnect with their authentic self, and begin living with more peace, truth, and meaning.
This may be for you if you are ready for a deeper, structured process rather than occasional support.
Not sure which kind of support fits where you are now?
We can begin with a first conversation.
About me
I believe people do not lose themselves because they are weak.
I believe people often lose contact with themselves because, at some point, adapting was necessary.
I’m Giouli Chrysikou, psychologist, couples therapist, and group therapist. I work with people who feel disconnected from themselves, emotionally tired, stuck in old roles, or unsure how to begin choosing differently.
In my work, I help you understand the patterns that shaped you, the emotions you may have learned to silence, and the needs that have been waiting for your attention.
I do not believe in pushing people into change before they are ready. But I also believe that with the right support, people can begin to listen to themselves again, set clearer boundaries, and live in a way that feels more honest and peaceful.
My Approach
Deep work, at a human pace.
My approach combines psychological understanding, emotional honesty, body awareness, and practical integration.
We may explore:
the roles and rules you learned to live by
the ways you protect yourself through silence, tolerance, or over-responsibility
the emotions that feel difficult to express, especially anger, sadness, fear, or guilt
the relationship between your body, your choices, and your boundaries
the family or relational patterns that still shape your life
the small but important shifts that help you return to yourself
This is not about forcing quick change.
It is about creating enough safety, clarity, and support for real change to become possible.

"My tiredness wasn't due to work"
“I came to Giouli because I felt tired all the time and I couldn’t really explain why. I was functioning, but I didn’t feel like myself. What helped me most was that she didn’t rush me or tell me what to do. She helped me understand why I kept doubting myself and putting my needs last. Slowly, I started noticing what I actually felt before immediately dismissing it.”

"It's never about the dishes"
“We started couples therapy because we kept having the same fight in different forms. I thought we were coming to decide who was right, but the sessions helped us see the pattern we were both stuck in. Giouli made space for both of us without taking sides. It became easier to say what was really hurting instead of blaming or shutting down.”

"Feeling guilty about everything"
“I joined the program because I knew something had to change, but I didn’t know where to start. I had spent so many years being patient and telling myself things were not that bad. The program helped me see how often I was silencing myself. By the end, I could say no with less guilt, understand my anger better, and feel more connected to the person I had lost somewhere along the way.”
Carolyn (F), 49 y.o.
